UK Volunteering

You don't have to pack your rucksack and travel off to various remote destinations overseas to help tackle global poverty!  There's so much that you can do right here in the UK.

MADE in Europe runs projects for young people to volunteer in their local communities to address some of the most pressing global issues facing our world today such as climate change, food injustice and maternal mortality.

Volunteer Achievement Award (VAA)

MADE in Europe offers you the opportunity to gain the Volunteer Achievement Award (VAA) through your volunteer placement with us - whether its overseas or in the UK.

The VAA has been designed by Community Action & Development and is a national programme that has been endorsed by 11 international Muslim relief organisations. The VAA provides a quality framework to recognise the achievement of volunteers and we will work with you to develop an action plan for your personal development.

There are three levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold, and volunteers receive a certificate upon successful completion at each level.
