London Internships - closing date for June start is 30 April 2012

MADE in Europe offers internships starting in January, June and October each year in our London office.  

What’s the internship about?

Interns will be mainly helping to organise events and other activities to mobilise more young people to get behind the campaigns, writing articles and blogs for the website, building partnerships with other organisations and the media, and using social media to build MADE in Europe’s online presence.  As part of a small and dynamic organisation, you will play a key role in coming up with creative ideas to support more young Muslims to take action against the injustices and suffering experienced by billions of people in the world.  

Internships are unpaid (lunch and expenses will be provided) with the expectation to work at least 14 hours per week for a period of 2-3 months (negotiable).  We can be flexible with days/times of working and will discuss this at interview stage.  

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for applicants who have a good knowledge of the UK’s Muslim communities, excellent verbal and written communication skills (including IT literacy) and a passion for working with young people on global development issues.
