"When any one of you sees anything that is disapproved (of by Allah), let him change it with his hand; if he is not able to do so, then let him change it with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then let him hate it with his heart, though that is the least of faith" (Hadith, Muslim)

At MADE in Europe, we believe campaigning is not the responsibility of others. As Muslims, the fight against poverty and injustice starts with YOU!

Islam calls upon us as citizens, people of faith and as human beings, to stand up and take action against the injustice and suffering experienced by over 3 billion people worldwide.

Whilst paying our zakat, providing for the poor during Ramadan and performing Qurbani are all ways that we can alleviate poverty, Allah asks us to do more than that. As witnesses to the suffering in the world, we must speak out and raise awareness of injustice. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) commanded us to be proactive citizens reminding us the change starts with us. We must set an example to others by acting in a fair, honest and ethical way.
